JDogg1329 7 Posted August 7, 2012 I've never directly experienced a hacker on Australian servers, one time on an American server a friend of mine was shouting on Skype that he'd been killed by a hacker or something and I saw on the bottom left everyone was dying but I managed to get off the server in time. semipr0 402 Posted August 7, 2012 Also how we die, and locations of things.I'm an admin and no, I can't see how you died, and I can't see the location of fuck all except where people get setPos'd to when a mass teleport gets called.What we're allowed to see in our server logs is ridiculously scant, but I don't really mind, it keeps logs and what not from being metagaming tools. To be honest, if the DayZ team was half as good at keeping script kiddies from fucking up servers as they are at keeping admins from being able to use administrative information to metagame...this game would have no hackers at all. Play (DayZ) 123 Posted August 7, 2012 I'm always seeing post about people wanting to give up on the game because they come across hackers and what not. Am I the only one who has not come across one? Never had my legs instantly broke, turned into a dog, Thunderdomed(whatever that is) none of that. This game has given me nothing but an amazing and super fun/stressful experience. *Knock on Wood*Same for me, only this one time when the elektro was on fire but i was fine....
