Sym 0 Posted August 6, 2012 (edited) This is my first and probably last post.I have been playing DayZ for approximately 3 months, and it's been great. At first, it wasn't uncommon to go a few days without running into script kiddies... Recently, there has been an insane increase in assholes willing to spend $15 dollars on "hacks" in order to bring griefing to a new level in DayZ. It is now to the point where I cannot join a server without being teleported across the map, or have players teleport behind me and shoot me in the back. I am of the belief now that the only way to enjoy this game is to "hack". Not necessarily to grief others, but to gear my character with the equipment they had prior to its exploited death.Am I the only one who feels this way? norreka 45 Posted August 6, 2012 (edited) I meet some with my group - if we see the possibility to kill them we do - if they dont die after organised as50 fire we leave :)Edit: We do this with Cheaters like they have Guns like TWS g6cs or spawning helis and cars :9 Edited August 6, 2012 by Norreka
Dr. Fever 7 Posted August 6, 2012 God I hope so, your kind of attitude will only make things worse, similar to all the kill-on-sight apologist bullshitters.

Thorne (DayZ) 10 Posted August 6, 2012 (edited) Hacking required to survive in DayZ?Correct... Welcome to the "new" DayZ.every one feels this way, but all we can do is wait Nope. You can go download hacks for DayZ right now. No sense in waiting. :P Edited August 6, 2012 by Thorne
semipr0 402 Posted August 6, 2012 Hackers die too.The unfortunate state of affairs though is that its usually after they've completely gutted a server for the night and...to be honest hackers don't care if they die.Hacking isn't required to survive in DayZ. But with the current amount of hacking going on, my recommendation for "survival" is to get north....log out, and...stop playing for a month.Congratulations...you've survived. Vexus 25 Posted August 6, 2012 The game is called HackZ, so yes, hacking required. Else you spend 2 days gearing up with friends to die in the time it takes someone to scroll down to "Fuck shit up" in his hacks.
zancie 26 Posted August 6, 2012 (edited) It's the people like you that are the problem, just deal with it, you WILL die, I mean, sure if you got an as50 and NVG's and a ghillie the death can be really annoying and frustrating. But what fun is there in having everything? hell, once I get an akm and other gear I usually go to places where I know I'm gonna die.And I do feel sorry for you and all the others that get hacked death, it sucks. but it's the admins job to keep hackers out.
