Keep Getting Same error

Recommended Posts

I just got Arma:2 and operation Arrowhead. I used Worrom's Day z mod updated v1.45.

I changed the OA path to "-mod=@dayz" no quotes. if i right click OA and say

Launch OA it throws up a fast DOS window and then it go away and that is it. if i hit play and choose Arma 2: OA i get "Addon 'dayz_code' requires addon 'CABuildingParts'.

if i hit ok it launch the game and i get this error next "No Entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Citizen1.scope'."

if i try and join a game i get "You cant play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloaded content that has been deleted.chernarus"

I dont know what to do i really want to play this game and do a LP for the game. Looks and sounds amazing.

#update - what I posted last night was not correct, i'm editing this post with correct info#

I was getting this same problem. After looking around on forums and such, I found that running Steam 'As Administrator' resolved this issue.

So follow the install guide here:

http://www.dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2085

3) Go to Steam and right click Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead, go to 'Properties', 'Set Launch Options', add "-mod=@dayz -nosplash" without quotes in the target line.

If you are using retail go to the Arma2:OA main directory and right-click on "Arma2OA.exe" and add "-mod=@dayz -nosplash" without quotes to the target line.

I installed via Steam, so if you didnt use Steam, right click the Arma2OA shortcut and 'run as admin' and see if that works.

I had problems connecting to servers after I got into the game without errors, but that had to do with BattleEye no installed correctly.

"You cant play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloaded content that has been deleted.chernarus"

You're not launching it as combined operations.
