my Deer stands

hiya,

well im on the out skirts of BERZINO , want to get to a dearstand for weapon upgrade

any place where is a little bit les risk of muders and bendits?

plus the map i picked up does not show all the building and places like in the non active map in DAYZDB

Deer stands are really not that dangerous, they only spawn about 3 zombies and bandits/survivors really don't look at them. Only thing is that I usually don't find weapons there, but many other people have.

Actually deerstands can get pretty dangerous, I got killed there several times by players shooting me in the back, while I was looting.

Also if you like to kill Zeds there, then the chance of you getting killed raises a lot.

Well I guess I'm lucky then xD. I never really go to deer stands cause I never find anything anymore T_T

Head to some where in the mid-lands safest there as most people tend to head north or south and if they're in the middle it is on the coast

Well, Berenzino area can be a bit of a hot spot sometimes. If you want really low risk deer stands and don´t mind roaming around, there are four stands between msta and three valleys, almost nobody goes there except maybe fresh spawns with flashlights. There are safe lakes there too if you have water bottles, if you don´t have them, hit polana supermarket on the way south and visit Gorka-Polana area deer stands. You can pretty much stay in the woods all the way from Polana to Kamyshovo if you want.

Deer stands are the only time a Z can be dangerous. I usually stop by them if they're in my current route, but I don't make special trips for them.

i didn't find so many weapons there..once a m16, once mp5, some glocks..but they are good to find military ammo. i usually take a look when i see one. you can peek with binoculars from the ladder side so it's not so risky..try to avoid the zombies and go away quick if you spot them from more than 200m: someone is there

The zombies at deer stands are military zombies and they can have military loot too, I once found a morphine injector on one and ammo for both primary and secondary weapons ^^

I loot deer stands religiously. Especially if I spawn in Kamenka. If you go North of Kamenka you can hit three. I hit them all and walked away with an AK, four mags for them, and a M9SD. Not all in one stand of course. However, I have hit ten deer stands in a row and found nothing. Not even a tin can.
