Battleye config

Recommended Posts

I searched for this up and down but couldnt find an answer. Where in the configuration is the ability to log into admin from the player panel. I can still do that on mine and I want to disable it to help mitigate some of the hacking. I seem to remember a post about changing something to either a 1, 5, or 7.

In file manager check the file \cfgdayz\BattlEye\scripts.txt

Check and see if it is empty

Since your with vilayer from the looks of it u could try the following

Stop the server +

Install the following updates in order i.e

ArmA2OA-95248 & Battleye Scripts

DayZ 1.7.2.4 & Arma2OA 95389

Or otherwise u can do it manually

http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/55657-start-here-a-beginners-guide-to-dayz-servers-and-administration/ & upload the copy scripts.txt into \cfgdayz\BattlEye\scripts.txt

And might aswell make sure your \cfgdayz\BattlEye\bans.txt is updated a copy @ http://pastebin.com/CvtbgRdJ \cfgdayz\BattlEye\bans.txt

Either way will accomplish the same thing. http://www.battleye.com/downloads/BERCon.exe if u wanna send admin messages when u manually reboot.
