Unable to bandage players while holding a chemlight

I was just playing with friend on a night server, when he fell of the stairs in Zub (night time be rough). I couldn't get the option to bandage him while i was holding a chemlight.

Not the biggest problem (a minor bother, when caught unprepared), but I just had a vision of a situation, where dropping the chemlight will be the difference between life and death.....sometimes 0.5 sec is a long time.

IMO it would be super duper fantastic if, there was a option to bandage (transfuse, stab in the heart, etc etc) players while holding the chemlight and would auto-drop the chemlight and go straight to bandage when activating the bandage from the mousewheel menu.
