Why can't I view players' names above them?

I installed Day Z for my brother and while playing on his account, I can view players' usernames on their head (in yellow text).

On my own account, however, this is not the same. Why is that?

It's based on what difficulty the server is on. If it's on Veteran (which a lot of the servers are), then you won't see a name. If it's on Recruit, you will.

I prefere when you can't see player names. Its kinda silly how easily you can spot players just by moving around with your aim.
