So was sniping Stary today when I got killed. Think it was a bullet in the back of the head. Ah well, live by the sword, right? Lost an AS50, gillie, L85, nvg, rangefinder, gps, etc. good luck to whoever killed me, hope you enjoy the spoils.

Respawn, swim to stalininsky island. Hacker murders everyone on the server. Makes me wonder if a hacker killed me the first time. I will never know.

You know what? I needed that. Now I am gonna get an axe and go hunt snipers at cherno and electro. Creep up behind them and whisper...

Yeah, I should clarify the 20 days. I play long weekend sessions (7 hours) and a few evenings. I played in a group, which makes surviving easier. I think my total alive time would be about 30-35 hours, as a guess. During my time alive my crimes were:

Murdered 3 people (although 2 were justifiable homicide)

Attempted murder on 4 additional people (most combat logged)

Accessory to murder on 4more bodies (as a spotter or supporting fire)

Probable kill on a Huey

Items thieves from bodies or tents

2x M24

DMR

M4 SD

GPS

NV

I like it when people have this attitude. We had a group that got killed by a hacker that teleported us into the air yesterday. Between the four of us, we had almost 50 hours alive. We all Q_Q'd for a minute before finding an Enfield/axe/Winny and starting our quest to get back everything we lost. I definitely had more fun running around Cherno/Elektro killing snipers than running back and forth between NWAF/Stary/Berezhino.

You know what just made my day? Going to a private hive server just for kicks since I've never really played on them. Spend about an hour looting up with decent equipment like an AKM. Head to electro, and as I'm nearing the barn just north of the city, I see a guy running through the woods with a Coyote Backpack and immediately thought.. "I'll just take that off your hands". I light the guy up from behind, and drop him as he runs behind a tree trying to bandage. Turns out, he's the server admin and he just killed a guy in electro since I heard his M4A3 CCO popping off and a death soon follow. Turns out the guy has every item. Rangefinders. A ghillie in his backpack, coyote, nvgs, Plus the M4A3. Combined with the CZ-550 I just randomly picked up in prig. To top it all off? Him raging up a storm in side chat since it's enabled on most private servers. All I said to him was "Props for not aborting." since he had plenty of time to do it. Funny thing was, I was getting beat on by a zombie the whole time I was engaging him, so I missed quite a few shots. I killed him with the last round in the only AKM mag I had as well. :P

Died after a 20 day survive yesterday under similar circumstances, got up to 12 murders, eventually fell due to a risky run close to Cherno. Congrats to you Mr. DMR, well played.

Hmm... Axing reminded me of the first times I played the game. I found an axe, and a survivor. I killed the zombies that chased him. Then looked at him and started screaming "I WANT YOUR NIPPLES" In the voice chat. Well, it ended up on him doing a suicide to a zombie pack and me running after him threatening to cut of his nipples.

That was fun.

Don't feel too bad. I lost a 23 day old character last week to a hacker. With the huge spike recently with the scripters/hackers, I knew it was only a matter of time. Not a pleasant experience, but it was kind of fun to be back to needing to scavenge again.

I was annoyed that I lost my AS50 and M4A3 CCO, though. The ironic part is that the FIRST weapon I found after re-spawning was an M4A3 CCO! Only the second time I'd ever found one. Found a crashed heli the second day with an M107 and a DMR. Grabbed the DMR for a change of pace from the .50s. Then, had yet another very close call with a server-wide mass teleport shortly after. Sadly, I know it's a matter of time till I get killed again by hackers and I'll bet money it will be a lot less than 23 days this go around.
