I think I killed a hacker, and I have a L85 question

Recommended Posts

I was in Electro doing some bandit hunting. I was near sniper hill with my L85 and DMR. As I was watching a noob raid the factory I heard shot from the hill. I scanned the area with the L85 with the heat scope and saw a dude shooting at the noob. Obviously you know what happened next. After a minute or two a began my way up to the body. I noticed the dude didnt have a backpack. He had a M107 and pretty much all the goodies. I switched out my DMR for the gun.

The sniper rifle was IN my backpack and I was using the L85. as I went to scan the area again I noticed the scope was no longer in night vision. I switched to the heat, and instead of it being red, it was black and gray.

soon after that EVERYONE in the server started dying. So I got the heck out of there.

My question: Is there different views for the heat vision? and why would this happen right after I pick up a gun and put it in my pack?

I've experienced the red in the L85 turning black and gray sometimes too. I don't know what causes it. It's kind of annoying. It still picked out hot items being white, but the background was black instead of red/orangeish. (And I mean black black, not a normal grayish thermal)

yeah! the only thing I can compare it to is the view when youre in the helicopter in BF3. I wasnt sure if this was happening from a hack or what not. I'm glad that Im not the only one.

the thermal glitches sometimes and switches to b/w (sometimes you dont even get the thermal, it just gives you a normal scope)

it should go back to normal eventually

the night vision went to normal scope and thermal was black and white. I'll prolly log on soon and see if it comes back

I'm fairly sure this is the other type of Thermal.

Digital scope I think it's referred to.

It's actually much better than regular thermal.
