Zombie aggro question

If I have zero on my eye meter and zero on my ear meter, am I completely invisible to zombies? Just now (nighttime play), I was prone in the grass, and two different zombies basically walked around me - right at me, then walking around my body and kept going. Is this normal? Always, or only at night?

Well if they cant see you i suppose they cant see you, If they cant hear you i guess they cant hear you too. So maybe if you think you may get that the zombie cant get you.

My point is, they should have walked right into my prone body, but actively avoided me and walked around. Even if they can't see me, they should have tripped over me and started feasting...

Same has happened to me. I was Sam Fishering around inside a building when some zombies walked in and blocked the door. They walked around me, and when I tried to ninja away my ear thing went to 1 and they aggro'd.

It doesn't seem to be normal i've had zero eye and hearing loads of times and zombies have seen me from about 1- 2 meters away. As it was nighttime though and you were complety hidden maybe they just saw you as another obstacle.

That's kinda what I was thinking was most likely, but figured I'd ask for similar experiences.

What was the wether like? raining? Ive been able to walk right by them when its raining, rub shoulders almost. Then there is that one zombie that aggros from over the other side of the field when you have 1 bar up on both sight and sound so exepct anything in between really.
