can you use like a different name or different charatcer. Like can you create a different profile and use that. I realize you will have different inventory and such. but I was wondering that.

Nope, you won't have a different inventory, stats, location, ect. You can use 27 different profiles, and they'll all be linked to the same DayZ account.
