I just died from a hacker who suddenly killed everyone on the server.

I didn't get teleported, but noticed I suddenly had a broken bone and my character died.

Then I saw everyone else's name show up as "was killed" and then the YOU ARE DEAD screen.

Off Topic: Lost an M14 AIM, Silenced M9, and a Ghillie Suit as I was making my way to Cherno so I could snipe :/

I'm guessing you were playing in a highly populated server? I only go on populated servers if I know im just screwing around and I have nothing important on me. Your a lot safer playing in servers that maintain around 15-25/ maybe 30 players in a server. I noticed the lower populated server don't get hacked as often.

And is it me or what but ever since the last auto download from Steam. The 'upgrade for arma 2/dayz' the server's been getting hacked %1000 more then before

This was my second hacker encounter. I think there were about 15 people or less on this server too because of my DayZ Commander settings.

In my first encounter, there were probably about 20+ people.
