so its been 5 months and almost 1 million users, rocket still havent decided on what his stand alone engine will be......

Recommended Posts

rocket needs to decide what he needs to do about the engine and push this project into beta. he is using way too much time dealing with bugs and exploits when the stand alone dayz which i doubt will still be in arma 2 engine?

at this rate this game will never be stand alone.

Rocket stated in one of the last interviews that an announcement will soon be made about the future. And it will probably be the RV engine.

Without fixing these issues in the alpha it would never reach a beta let alone a stand alone game. He's got a lot of food on his plate; give him some time to eat.

O you again, telling the guy making the game what he should do.

Maybe you should keep up with the many interviews he has done where he talks about all this stuff.

Too much time dealing with game breaking problems (hacks, bugs, exploits) ..Lol..

in his recent interview with machinima, he told us he thinks it will be ready around late september - october, not confirmed.

the interview with rocket starts a couple of minutes in. interresting interview. just sit and listen, answers many questions.

yes i watch his interviews but there is zero point to fix bugs hacks and exploits that came directly from the arma 2 engine. its a huge waste of time if he decide to use another engine ( Which he never made a decision on in All his intervews, rezzed, machima, sidestrafe, totalbiscuit , etc) i watch/read most if not all his interviews and he mention what his standalone engine will be.

tldr; no point of rocket fixing bugs, exploits and hacks when the engine havent been even decided upon
