Game Hacked?: Crazy game change on server fight to death

Hi

i dont know what just happend... was running arround with my just fund cz550 when suddenly the map changed.

was suddenly in a military camp with all the other players, and then appeared a message box saying something like there are weapons somewhere to pick up and it is fight to death.... nobody had any inventory.

even de abort button was not pressable... i asked the players there and nobody knew whats happening and then people started shooting.

I didnt know what was happening .... just to find my self dead when i now relogged.

What was this? did they hack the game?

a hacker has just "thunderdomed" the server you were on. Search for that term in the forums.

It is called the thunder dome.

You were teleported there by hackers or maybe a dippy server admin.

It was a script kiddie (somewhat inaccurately referred to as a 'hacker' on these forums).

If you ever get teleported again, or turned in to an animal, or anything like that just Alt+F4 or abort really fast.

Yes, if you Alt+F4 immediately the script kiddie (or other thunderdomed players) cannot kill you.

I don't think people survive the thunderdome unless they Alt+F4/abort.
