Is there any server at all out there where there isnt a 'shoot first, never question' attitude? Ive tried playing on 10 different server as of now and on all of them I was shot by a player before i even made it to a town or found anything interesting, I want to explore the map and attempt zombie survival and scavenge for the resources I need, not worry more about the players who just want to add to thier bandit count. I know a lot of people are just going to target me with the usual 'lrn2ply noob' style replies but seriously, all I'm looking for is a place where shooting other players from the top of towers just for coming near a town isnt the normal style of play. I was drawn in by a zombie survival game, not a killing simulator with a few zombies dotted about.

Um, private/clan server? try to join a server where its a clan server, or find a small group who started one.

Tbh I used to be a kill on sight person but All these new bandits who kill on the coast turned me into a survivor.

I'll still shoot people if they don't answer me but I don't care about dying anymore.

Sorry but no, or at least probably not. In most post apocalyptic zombie type fiction, the protagonist learns rather quickly that the "monsters" are not the real worry when compared to the monsters that lurk within humanity already, suppressed only by concepts of law and order within a society.
