dazbobaby 6 Posted May 25, 2012 Is it against the rules?
tansien 15 Posted May 25, 2012 It's one of the major reasons i'm behind a centralised database, because it's very, very abused right now. Both for loot farming and "tactical" movements. (Switch server to move behind a shooter...)I'd suggest creating "spawn" points all over the map, and just dumping people who log in at a spawn point near where they logged out, where there are no people. If that's too complicated, just warn everyone within 250m if someone is logging in close by. This should discourage logging out in barracks or other "populated" areas...
howichrgelazer 69 Posted May 25, 2012 I thought there was a system implemented as of this time that caused loot to spawn based on the amount of time somebody has been in the area (and distance as well, I think). Which cuts down on loot hopping a bit.
