random51 172 Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) As long as it isn't a global ban I wouldn't worry about it.I think admins have some leeway and what sorts of scripts will trigger a battleye response and what level of response is triggered. The admins of that server are probably trying to find the strictest ruleset that still allows a majority of their players to play.Basically you've got a bunch of admins out there who are trying to protect their servers with inadequate tools and a overall policy that doesn't let them simply make a private, yet still hive-connected server. lordxenu 0 Posted August 7, 2012 Hello. im the owner of this server. we only ban people who consistantly have over 200 ping.I didn't even know about a helicopter on the island. thanks for telling me tho lolAnd yeah i talked to a day z admin of some sort telling me to change the name he said i had some time to pick up items and save them in tents before i had to restart my server which is required for motd and hostname change..I can only speak for my self tho, there are 2 others who have admin password who could have banned you. i will look into it. I just checked the bans file and there is a good 30+ people banned and i know for fact it wasn't by me. so i will be changing the admin password and talking to some people about this. arma2eraseditself 22 Posted August 12, 2012 The part I love about this all is it gives these server admins a good day or 2 before people complain, an admin gets involved, things are sorted out and they ALWAYS have an excuse(ping, hackers, pvp, testing, stability, didnt know, etc etc)and it gives them time to mass horde and stockpile loot an vehicles.this admin abuse is getting old Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
