gordonie 0 Posted August 5, 2012 So I am new to the dayz world, I started playin 4 days ago with 3 other friends and in that time we have accumulated alot of loot. We play primarily on US 1414 and just the other day we logged on and 1 of our 3 tents was completely gone of items! Now before you scream, "Oh you got looted" I strongly believe we have NOT been looted, rather, we have been attacked by a glitch in the game. The reason I say this is that 1, the tent in question was the ONLY tent affected, all 3 other tents were not affected at all. 2, there were not only good items in that tent, but alot of crapy stuff that no one in the right mind would take over some of the stuff in the other tents. 3, the campsite is only 2days old and it is VERY well hidden, we dont see alot of traffic on the server, especially were we are located. 4, I hear tents are bugged and do this something when the server restarts, which it did right before we lost the items.So, with that being said I think its safe to assume its a glitch that ate our items. And without any know how on how to remedy this extreme fortune, I turn to the forums for help. What should I do? I heard another restart of the server might fix i but I have know idea how to contact an admin for the US 1414 server? we lost 3 VERY rare items I cannot stand to lose, infact, this is so discouraging I am probably not going to play dayz again, especially if this continues to happen because it negates the point of even trying and working so hard.I dont remember the exact items we lost, but I know we lost our beloved AS50 which I found yesterday! an FN FAL with no scope, and a rangefinder. samirocks321 10 Posted August 5, 2012 The same thing happend to me, and your correct, a server restart SHOULD return them, but there was times when my items did Not return, just pray it works! :D and its no reason to quit the game, trust me, once you become better and pro, you'll be find AS50's left and right! :P Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

As you can see, I want them back :(any advice?thanksYa i posted thread about this.... this only problem i have with this game....I enjoy creating a base, and storeing stuff and going out scavaging for more. but problem is,,, my tents dispearing or items dispearing.or both...... i wish this to be fixed instead of everything else...because honestly i have nothing better to do other than get best weapon/ghille suit 2 pieces of food and 3 sodas + ammo and i can log off and never log on again.... cause i am set and cant store anywere anything else. gordonie 0 Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) welp the admin restarted the server, it didnt seem to help it :( is there an ETA for this fix? because I doubt ill play untill this is fixed cause theres no point, I can already survive as ong as I want, I have way to many items, the only thing left is to build a base/home. cant do that soooo, yeah.would an admin be able to replace my items manually with his powers or do admins not do that? still cant seem to contact them anyway, maybe i just need to find a server that never restarts. ShoOT001 6 Posted August 5, 2012 Do never get in love with your loot and your play time. If you die you will be sad. This is the game. I also hate this ALT+F4 thing. If I'm going to die i will not press any buttons to disconnect even if i have a ghillie suit and NV goggles. It makes more fun to die and to plan things better and better, so you will not die so quickly. believe me ;) But yea everyone has his own favor.
