Derpy_Hooves (DayZ) 4521 Posted August 5, 2012 What part? The hiding in the bushes aiming at noob town or the abort right after the kill in case someone heard him?the bandit nailing, for all you know he could have been covering a squad hence camping there, and the Abort? well to upload the video of course... It aint just bandits who camp there, i usually have a few members of a squad up on the hills covering us when we raid for supplies!

Don't try and defend it, you just argued to support not knowing who a player is ever.

I say thats a Karma kill in my books, i wont condone killing fresh meat but what he did to that guy was legit in my books!
rmnesbitt@gmail.com 23 Posted August 5, 2012 I love how the guy who took the video aborted after the kill, lollololololllololollololollololol
eonshikeno 14 Posted August 5, 2012 This has never been in DayZ and never should be. Stop trying to turn the game into every other death match game.

I say thats a Karma kill in my books, i wont condone killing fresh meat but what he did to that guy was legit in my books! No, I didn't see that guy he shot kill anyone, and even if they did shoot someone you have no idea who the person is they just shot. No names after all. All I saw was a sniper kill some unnamed guy in a field and then gtfo. This has never been in DayZ and never should be. Stop trying to turn the game into every other death match game.Identifying characters and people doesn't do anything to turn this into a deathmatch. Although honestly you're advertising PvP battles in your sig, so I'm not sure why you think you should frontier the "don't make this game a deathmatch" argument. You guys are very shortsighted when it comes to the future of this game and character identification. Sure it's cool to be a stealth ninja and kill a guy with no repercussions.Adding in (better) nametags and a private message of who killed you on your death screen would only promote better clan warfare, espionage, revenge killing, and the almighty reputation for being a killer. There are ways to manage it so that it doesn't penalize you at all.Knowing people's names and who they are when they kill you or even when you see them walking down the street promotes game growth. Eldo (DayZ) 7 Posted August 5, 2012 There are no silenced sniper rifles, or battle rifles. And no that is unrealistic and no fun. Also wrong thread placement.Well no, there are battle rifles, but it is unrealistic and isn't fun, and this should be in suggestions.

I never said it shouldn't be a death match, you made that up yourself. DayZ obviously has PvP in it. My point was that it shouldn't be like every other death match style of game. On the subject of clan war. It already is fine as is. In the past my team had an ongoing clan war with two different clans with the current style of name tags DayZ uses. Just try using your brain to figure out who killed you instead of having it hand fed to you. Edited August 5, 2012 by EonShiKeno
