twix (DayZ) 24 Posted August 5, 2012 Not sure if this has been gone through. If you are in an area with lots of graphical glitches perhaps those dead bodies are what are causing it. So what works for me atm is to be in the near vicinity of that area and close the application and restart DayZ. Haven't tried the FLUSH on logout or disconnect. If anybody wants to confirm feel free to reply back.

spuddels 12 Posted August 5, 2012 what is this flush people keep talking about?
ZenBuddhistdog 0 Posted August 5, 2012 The best way to fix it seems to be anything that restarts the rendering engine. Also, keeping your videocard cooled properly seems to minimize how often it happens. Having VRAM set to default seems to help, as ARMA 2 doesn't seem to do well allocating more VRAM than your card actually has.
StoDaDio 11 Posted August 5, 2012 Literally none of the "fixes" work for some of us. Its quite sad.
ZenBuddhistdog 0 Posted August 5, 2012 Literally none of the "fixes" work for some of us. Its quite sad. They occasionally don't. It's an issue with the LOD mesh for dead military (non-Zed). It's being fixed in the next patch, though, which shouldn't be too long, as it's just a hotfix. For now, just pray you don't get shot when it's messing you up. StoDaDio 11 Posted August 5, 2012 I forgot that I had logged out last night in a barracks. So logging in today was horrible!
