digital0 22 Posted August 5, 2012 Hi allI've read somewhere that you should restart your server all 6 hours. Now for the most part of last month I did that as well as possible.But is it really necessary? I've found whenever I managed to not restart it (had a 3 day phase) I simply felt no difference on my server. So far I see a restart as more damaging for the experience (restoring of tents and sometimes their gear in it). Or vehicles/tents vanish after a restart.Is there some bloating going on in the server files, maybe logs?Actually now that I think about it, my server host never even once mentioned restarting the server to be necessary. suspense 210 Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) Its nessesary as long as object cleanup is bugged. If you didnt feel a difference after 3 days of no restart, your server must have had 5 players lol.Currently, most of the full servers experience 5-10 minute loading times due to object cleanup being bugged.
