thesodesa 99 Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) Rocket said in a recent Machinima interview that instead of releasing a hotfix they'd be doing a full patch with new features and because of that releasing the patch is going to take longer . He also said that people with these issues are probably going to hate him or it.You just have to be patient. Edited August 5, 2012 by TheSodesa

He also said that people with these issues are probably going to hate him or it.You just have to be patient.Just wait, we'll have to wait two fucking weeks to deal with this shit. Half the cities in the game are unenterable because Rocket won't release a tiny hotfix. Christ.
Guitar (DayZ) 6 Posted August 5, 2012 Yeah it's pretty fucking stupid to not fix something in a small update you've already fix just to add some retarded skins that nobody reall wants anyways.
oyci3c 2 Posted August 5, 2012 Well I have no idea how the programmer things are going on there but in our company we have something like: blocker.Blocker is a bug that makes things unusable which are highest priority to deal with and are fixed asap.Rest of minor bugs or fixes are dealt with in trunk and/or merged to branch.Srsly this glitch bug is too long here and it's just low and lame. oyci3c 2 Posted August 5, 2012 Also new features > hotfix that will make game playable? Srsly?

Argent_LeRoche 13 Posted August 5, 2012 A method I find that works is to go somewhere safe were you can see the glitch. Then go into Video settings and change them from "Normal to Low" or whatever your equivalent is.After the screen says "Receiving" it should be fine. teteiyusu 36 Posted August 5, 2012 The trick I find that is most effective, but doesn't always work is:SHIFT+Numpad -Then you type: flushand that should for the most part work.If not, it'll require sadly a full game reboot.
geegee (DayZ) 5 Posted August 5, 2012 I have found few tricks to work: - 1st press Esc and then Alt + enter to go in windowed mode, then hit alt + enter again to go back to fullscrn, works most of the time for me. - Disable AA and post processing, if already disabled, enable and disable again - Set video memory to Default, if on default, set to something else and back to default - Enable / disable V-sync - Restart game after you have done any of the changes ( once worked for me, not that reliable and annoying to restart so don't bother)And as said aboveSHIFT+Numpad -Then you type: flush
