Can't play through daylight

Recommended Posts

if a zed is looking in your direction, go prone. They have crazy vision and even 2 visibility bars pulls them from a crazy distance. if they are turned away you have a little bit more lee way and can crouch-run. Once you learn barns, barns, etc you'll be able to lose zombies by running through the buildings and crouch running out the other side. With practice you can get good at losing zombies just by running between building and losing line of sight.

Is it server dependant or something? I mean at times I can crouch walk right past them, the next i'm running in a field and one from 200 feet away some zed sees me.

Zeds "see" out of their chests. Their head can be cocked looking at you but they won't see you unless their chest points at you. Crouch walking should be ok, or even crouch running sometimes.

When you're further in dayz I started to notice zombies movements and there lack of sight through bushes so now I sprint around towns and then jump through the closest bushes and go prone and the zombies just walk straight past without noticing me and I wait a while then head to the next loot-able town also it's handy to have a team mate with you so when escaping you can run to him and the following zeds can be taken out by him.
