So I had the joy of playing on a server that had someone angry enough to teleport everyone to skalisty island. If anyone with a boat is willing to come pick me up I can give you an as50 or m107 with mags and a silenced m9. I also have range finders with nvgs.

Kinda sounds like a trap to me, We got a boat, but it sounds like you could just pick us off. Though you wouldn't get the boat. I might be able to assist you, but your guns stay lowered and in your backpack if you can. Me and a buddy will come with guns lowered and won't aim at you unless you run off or something.

Or you could just swim it. I heard someone say losing your stuff in the water was off by default for a lot of servers after a recent arma beta patch. I don't know if i trust that when i have nice guns and a coyote.

If you swim for less than 4 minutes on the current patch in normal arma you do not lose stuff in the water. I lost my stuff at about 4:17 of being swimming. It is possible to swim to Skalisty by swimming less than 4 minutes in the water. You can figure it out if you look.

I think you are a fool for not swimming back to the mainland. You shouldn't play this game if you don't like risk.

spoiler: swim for 3 mins. relog and swim the rest. You do not lose any stuff guaranteed.
