Zombies 0/0

Recommended Posts

So, this is my first day trying to play Day Z and so far its been a terrible experience. I'm not sure if its my fault or not, but I'd like some help. Day Z is a pretty sweet mod but I cannot enjoy it in my current situation:

I use the Arma 2 free verison to play and I've bought Operation Arrow head. I've started both of them and what not. I use Six Launcher and update Arma and Day Z. I join a game and it says Zombies 0/0 and there are not any Zombies around. I leave this server and join another. Same problem. I delete my Day Z folder and reinstall from Six Updater, it doesnt work. I try manually launching Day Z through Steam without six updater doing all the steps. I try joining a game and it says "Bad Verison" Whats the problem here?

That is the issue, last time I checked you could refresh it by opening six launcher and verifying your game.

Sorry, I overlooked it. It is there, do you know of another issue that may be causing this?

List off all the things inside of your @DayZ folder, there might be a file missing that you need.

It all seems to be there... Try reinstalling DayZ, if that doesn't work try reinstalling your Operation Arrowhead.

When you say reinstall DayZ what do you mean? What I did was basically delete my Day Z folder and let Six updater do it again.

That is, indeed, reinstalling DayZ. You're going to have to reinstall Arrowhead, maybe even Arma II (Unless someone else posts a better idea.)

Try looking up some answers before you completely go into this time consuming event.

I'll just re install it, I've been plenty of looking already and all I could find was "Reinstall Dayz/Reinstall OA/ReinstallArma2" I was just hoping it wouldn't come to that. But eh.

What can you do, I looked it up as well. I'm sure the good ol' "Did you turn it off and on again?" trick will work on these principles, good luck.

"Did you try reformatting your computer?"

"Unplug your monitor and plug it back in"

Anyways, thanks for your help!
