27 bullet M107 magazine

So I logged into DayZ today after not having played for a few weeks, only to stumble upon the fact that my currently loaded M107 mag has 27 bullets in it.

I looked in my inventory as well, and the green bar that represents the ammo counter extends about 3 squares up. Most peculiar indeed.

While this certainly benefits me greatly, i'm just wondering what may have caused sucha strange bug, and if anyone else has had this happen to their ammo.
