I dont really know what happened but i cant play on any server.

Yesterday i was gonna play with some friends, but the server they played on required the beta patch of arma 2. so i used this patch http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

then i on the recommendation of my friend used this installer http://cdn.armafiles.info/installer/dwarden-simpler-installers/DayZ-online-with-shortcuts.exe

After all that had been installed i set out to play dayz. Using the shortcut created by the installer i started the game, joined the same server(UK7).

When i connected i noticed that instead where it usually say ''using modified file |britisharmedforces|privatemilitarycompany'' it instead showed a seemingly random amount of letters, shortly after i was kicked from server, with the message being(dont remember exactly): Kicked from server - gamehack #26. after that i cannot play on any server, either i get kicked immediately

or the kicked from server message.

Is there any help i can get with this issue or am i out of luck?

Edit: It appears i am able to join some servers(UK kicks me of instantly) however the text that tell wich version of battleye the server require i red, is that something i should be concerned about?

Have a continued good day and a pleasant night, HadHad

The beta patch is, well, the beta patch, and Dwarden works for Bohemia, so I don't think he's filling your game with hacks. You aren't banned, only kicked.

To better troubleshoot this problem, I'd advise rebooting your computer to force a complete flush of your memory, which may having something in it that is giving Battleye a false positive, then try reconnecting. See if the error repeats itself, then let me know.

Hi,

I'm the admin of UK4, i've not been 'requiring' the use of the beta client, so thats not an issue.

If you got an error message from battle eye, it could be a false positive.

I'll remove you from the banlist now.

feel free to join any time.

For a proper unban you need to list your playerid, and GUID.

To get your playerid start Arma 2 and at the main menu goto player profiles -> your OA profile and your playerID will be there.

To get your GUID go into any random server with BE enabled without the beta patch and DayZ and type in chat: #beclient guid

Well you're not banned by us, I would say it's not a ban but an issue with trying to connect to servers with the beta patch.

This thread is no longer relevant, the issue has been resolved. Thanks for all the replies and help. I still get kicked of UK7 but consider that it is only one server, it is not worth having a thread only to that.

Thank you all and have a good day.

Had this issue yesterday I had to go in to verify my steam game cache for ARMA 2 OA and then run ARMA 2 OA vanilla and finally run DAyZ mod with it. Fixed it all in about 20 minutes.
