I also found some ghillie guy and a lot of stuff north of cherno today, buried him with his gun. Got his name and the gun on screenshots. How do you report hackers ?

I have a small problem, well i dropped my Fn Fal avp-4 (something like that) and found some M4A1 Holo Sd on a guys didin't knew these weapon were not legit, so i put my gun on the ground the nice bug where he was gone did happend so no more Fn-Fal, and logged out with what you said is an unlegal gun, Will i get banned when i log back in? what should i do? :S :S

Can't get banned for an illegal gun unless YOU scripted it in. There's so much crap and vitriol on the forums it scares people who haven't learn't everything about the game yet.

We had a M4A3 Holo SD with attached M203 picked up off a dead body. Was a good find though it is unfortunately a hacked in gun. We have no proof the guy we killed scripted it in though. That's the issue with scripted weapons.

Reporting someone for having a scripted in weapon wont do you any good...

You are allowed to use those weps, just not spawn them in...

No you are fine... you can use that gun without risking any global ban...

I would however recommend you to find a new gun =/

Well i have loved the gun but as it was Hacked in, i swap it for a M24 when i saw it .

A bit sad it was not legit though :(

Incidentally, there are reports of people finding the Holo SD in the barracks once in a blue moon.

It's possible that it's legit and simply isn't on the wiki (wiki's are not, contrary to popular belief, infallible).

And no, you will not get banned for using hacked weapons.

This is the way to go! Well done! People should just stop picking up those hacker guns. They dont belong in the game.. See so many trading hacker guns in dayztrade on reddit. I just killed a bandit with a M4A1 Holo SD and a AS50 TWS.... Wondering why i still spawn in with a Bandit skin...... I was on a server an it randomly went away. Switch servers now it's back. I've only killed 1 bandit an have died couple times but it's still there!!
