When bandit is seen, there could be a really small "!" marker on map at spot position. The marker disappearns in 5 minutes.

This creates an environment where the survivors are not "alone", and close by survivors can easier band together to go for bandit hunting.

A 5 minute marker on my position if a survivor happens to see me. What if I kill him after he sees me? Does the marker stay there? This is ridiculous, just communicate location like you would in real life, by describing the area. "North of cherno, to the left of the road. Bandit with CZ, he got me, be careful"

If you want a bandit hunting marker, can we have a survivor hunting marker too?

The marker appears per bandit max once per 5 minutes as well. It would be a static marker. What this does is that it would actually require a sniping bandit to be on move more. So you cant just eternally set up a camp in one bush and keep shooting.

I do not think its too unfair tbh.

SO.... Is this communicated through telepathy? Do they ALL get free radios to communicate and the bandits get none?

A better idea is this: If a bandit kills you in Area A (ELEKTRO); do not go back to Area A (ELEKTRO). I prefer the bandits to be stationary because then you know where they are and can avoid them. It's the bandits that are mobile that a really Skeeerry

Of course you don't. It's your idea and you're not the one getting marked on the map.

Actually, come to think of it, if Survivors spotted by Bandits got marked as well this might just work out. :rolleyes:

Also, would we spam Q and the bandits would appear on everyone's HUD? Maybe this could be a 3D-Spotting display!

I think you miss the point. We do not have radios, so how would the bandit "appear" on everyone's map? The only answer is survivor hivemind.

In real life, you don't have some sort of marker showing exactly what your friends are wanting to point out. When Direct Communication is fixed, you can just tell the location right?

I think what he is saying is...

All survivors should be given free maps, radios, gps, AND rangefinders. This way they can automatically spot/communicate bandit locations.

You realize this would lead to reverse banditry right?

I don't hate survivors, I love em, they bring all the supplies from Cherno that I need, right to me! Don't have to go digging for medical supplies :D

Not a fan of Bandits, But at the end of the day were all tryn 2 survive....... Bandits, survivors & even some Zs, play as ur being watched all the time. Its the survivors doing most of the killing. Were Bandits "most of them" see us survivors as fare game????? If u changed that balance the game would have no thrill, drive 2 last another day/night.....:(

Marking a bandit because he got the best of u??????

I am a survivor who plays fair, and I despise bandits. HOWEVER this system would be completely unfair, unrealistic, and a buzz kill for all players. You think the bandit sniper should have to move on from his position? Get off your rump and MAKE him move, don't rely on game mechanics to save your skin and protect you. You think you should know where the sniper is? How about keeping your eyes on the trees and traveling a less common path.

In conclusion I don't believe your answer for death should be making game mechanics that give you an avalanche of an advantage to keep you from doing any work.
