Recommended Posts

CTRL + Shift + Numpad (-), enters "cheat" mode.

Type on your keyboard: flush

Video memory flushed.

Artificating gone.

All flush does is it makes the game re-render the graphics.

You can do the same by turning v-sync on then off.

This fix has been showed before and it hardly ever works.

Wait for the patch.

Antialiasing and anistropic filtering.

I switch em off and then when it comes back to low, then repeat.

Works for me.. Might not for anyone else... just trying to help (:

you can just SHIFT and - instead. Dont need to press cntrl. Also it almost never works. Out of about 20 tries, it fixed artifacting once for me.

I've been having this problem and it was driving me nuts. No way in hell I'm avoiding every city, so I tried this new one today and it's worked since (I tried flush with no luck):

From: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/59307-how-to-fix-graphical-artifactsglitches/

What I have tried attempting to remedy the issue (and what works):

1. Changing graphic settings (such as turning Anti-aliasing, post-processing and such) on and off, does not work at all.

2. Changing Vsync from On to Off and back again, works in a few individual cases.

3. Changing HDR settings between max to minimum works more oftenly.

4. Holding down shift, pressing the "minus (-)" key on your numeric keypad, releasing and after typing 'flush' works on a few occations (about 20% success ratio for me.

5. Changing your config file by editing: My Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\<Your profile>\<Your profile>.ArmA2OAProfile:

change so

sceneComplexity=1000000;

I still perform the flush command, seems to sometimes help. I was in Stary Sobor, did it, fixed some of the artifacting, did it again, fixed them all.
