If Bohemia interactive doesn't mind you guys should think about putting the download in adfly or putting some non intrusive ads on the forum so you can start making some money in support for the standalone release..

they've already talked about how they like the minecraft model

It almost definitely won't be free, but I agree with hosting the download link on adfly or having ads, why not?

I hope they will have some monthly payment, since it would keep the little kids away and they could make enough money to host their OWN SERVER (e.g. no admin abuse, no restarts, up to 200+ slots,...) and could invest the money in some nice addon/dayz2. AWESOME IDEA I KNOW
