Help a Noob Out!

Just got the game today, been playing for about an hour.

I just needed some general help/info.

On my first try, I lasted about 3 minutes. I spawned by the shore, and just ran into town.

Needless to say, I was hauling ass back to the shore with about 5 zombies behind me within a matter of seconds.

My second try I did much better, lasted about 40 minutes, following powerlines hoping to find a "safe house" or a place I could regroup myself at.

...But, of course, it wasnt that easy and I found a Military watch tower. (Is it just me, or do the soldier zombies run faster? :P )

So 2 questions.

1. How come I have come across 2 towns, and a barn, but none of the doors are openable?

2. ...How do I use the bandages? :lol:

1. Only some buildings can be entered in the game. You will learn which ones with experience.

2. Press "G" to open your gear. You will see the bandages on the bottom right side of the menu, right click them and it will give you the option to "use bandage". Just left click that and you will heal your bleeding.

1. Getting a feel for what buildings you can enter was frustrating for me as well starting. The buildings that can be entered will look the same from village to village. Take your time and learn.

2. Right click on bandage in your inventory. You get one to start the game.

Only certain building can be entered.

Hit G to open you inventory, right click your bandage and select the option to use.

If you are getting chased you can run through a building with more than 1 way in/out since they walk indoors, crouch run through pine trees, or run around buildings/walls to break line of sight and then crouch run away.

Not knowing which buildings are enterable sucked so bad. xD

Everyone was new once... You'll pick things up quickly and survive longer with every character. Good luck!
