Random Re-spawn Location & Missing Gear

What happened:

Joined server and my location was reset to the coast near Cherno (I know that happens periodically), I navigated to NW of Zelenogorsk (picking up a map along the way). Stopped to check map, got kicked from server "battle eye not responding". rejoined another server, location reset to Bor! with no map.

Virginia 11 (before kick) - NL & NY (after kick to confirm location etc)

Sufficient

I did notice a few red & orange chains along the way, but they didn't display for long. I feels to me like it just wasn't saving, but it must have been at least 45 minutes between me passing Bor and getting kicked from the server, otherwise my connection was ok.

apart from that i'm just pissed about loosing the map! GRRR! :o)
