backpacks did it again

Date/Time: 05-23-2012, time unknown

What happened: I had DMR with me and when I tried putting it in my backpack because I found m4a1 the backpack just ate it. it just completely disappeared. And this has happened many times with other guns and other places.

I think it happened because my backpack was almost full, but shouldn't it had like dropped it to ground or moved food and drinks to my inventory and not just make it disappear

Where you were: North airport (dont know better description to it)

What you were doing: Looting barracks for another weapon/ammo

*Current installed version: i guess the newest (was it 1.5.8?)

I'm not sure how possible it is, but if you don't have space in your inventory it shouldn't let you move it into it. Just like how you cant pick up vehicle parts when you don't have enough room it should display a message like that and simply not allow the item to be moved into your inventory.

How many slots do you need to put a Makarov magazine into a backpack? I have entire loads of ammunition disappear regularly. I just had my makarov and 6 magazines vanish into thin air while I was looting because I had the audacity to attempt to put a magazine into my alice pack to make room for a bandage. But hey, thank God the precious beans never disappear, right?
