(Help) How to start a server just for me to play on

So I go to LAN and click Create new session or host new session I forget what it is. From there I pick the map chernarus and under "Missions" Theres not one that says DayZ. So im wondering what I put the mission as.

DayZ communicates with a central online hive, which means: If you would host your own hive your character would work with that but not with dayz later because it's another hive. So no, no LAN servers, neither playing alone, end of the question.

If you just want to explore the map, you can use Arma's single player mission editor. There are some good videos on youtube on how to set up a camera. Google 'arma 2 camera editor tutorial' or something along those lines.
