fackstah 31 Posted May 25, 2012 What about a system with real time seasons , have it snow during the winter instead of rain ? im not sure if this is possible within the arma II engine however this would send the immersion level through the roof imagine people huddled together around a fire to stay warm following foot prints to track survivors or even see if someone has come by ?this could lead to costumes that have better layering so the normal survivor gear will only get you so far without freezeing ? Blizzards instead of storms or nice snowy mountains in the distance and a pair of ski's perhaps ?
bjarnidk 9 Posted May 25, 2012 I wouldn't exactly want these to be REAL TIME. I'd prefer if it was like, up north would be snowy etc.
xqnp7 0 Posted May 25, 2012 Well I think it'd be natural for the north to be a bit colder but I still think real time seasons would be neat. Of course, maybe the beaches wouldn't constantly be snowy and the coastal, southern areas would be warmer. However I think real time seasons would add an incredible amount of both realism and immersion.
