So I downloaded the mod and I noticed that it says I need an addon of Arma 2. Funny thing is it's telling me two different addon's. On the download/mirror page it says Operation Arrowhead and on the "What is Day Z" page it says Combined Operations. Can someone tell me for sure which one I need. Thanks!

Combine Operations is just ArmA II and Arma II: Operation Arrowhead together, with the latter being the expansion. You will need both to play DayZ.

Once you have OA it also best to launch the game as Combined Ops to stop any annoying pop up error messages.

Buy Combined Ops on steam, install both games, launch it first time, install a dayz launcher (I use six launcher) and your good to go

Just get Operation Arrowhead. And to launch DayZ, I'd use DayZCommander.
