Bean-Wars mode

This is just a little thought I've been thinking about with friends. This would probably end up being a whole new mod though.

The idea is basically DayZ in alot smaller scale. The map would be the area of usual bean-wars, Elektrozavodsk or Chernogorsk. 40 people in one city, PVP oriented. Same sort of loot system that DayZ has, and a crapload of zombies around the players of course. The guns should be low tier too, as in a proper bean-war. Eating and drinking would obviously be necessary and the scoreboard should show both time alive and player kills.

I've had some bean-wars in by DayZ carrier, and I can say that it is an amazing feeling to be in the middle of a firefight with zombies running around attacking everyone on sight. Can't really get more excitement from anything in games. For me the most fun part in DayZ is the PVP as it is simply too easy/unchallenging to just fight zombies or live in a forest. I would do bean-wars a lot more often, but after a long time to get decent gear, it often feels like too much effort to lose (unless I'm looking to start over, it is nice sometimes as it does get boring not having PVP fights while just looting more and more stuff with random people encounters. You can go a lot more risky if you have just started and have like an Enfield instead of AS50) And when I respawn on a new character there is often too little action in the main cities to really get a nice war going.

I know that what I suggest would take a great deal of work but I think it would be awesomely fun to have a bean-wars mode if people are feeling like more action. The regular DayZ is amazing for what it is, I play it a ton. But just to have this option to jump into a zombie filled PVP for 20 minutes with your friends would beat DayZ for me if I don't have time for a longer gaming session.

Yup, your right. That would be a completely different Mod much like many of the others out there already. You should give them a go.
