so i found a gps and was wondering how you set points on the gps like store and other key places

Didnt know you could store anything, I have to manually pinpoint my locale with the coordinates depending on servers

Gps doesn't work like that. The GPS works as a dual purpose Map and also tells you your exact grid on the map. It also tells you exactly where you are, if you hold right ctrl and M.

You cannot put "points" on your map, other than making X's on the map or shift-clicking the map, depending on which server.
