DayZ launching but not playable.

I've been trying to play DayZ and I know it works on my computer because I managed to get to be able to play it once, but the game, no matter if i run it from steam or six launcher always freezes at the lobby area where it displays player slots and information..

I'm not sure how to fix this.

Short freezes are common for me too...waiting 10-15s will usually let it continue. And sometimes the download of "41kb" will just get stuck and you best restart the whole game.

1: Try waiting a full minute before you press OK.

2: If using steam, verify game cache.

3: Ofc, test on multiple servers.

4: Make sure you haven't been Hive banned or something. Maybe try one of the non-hive server to see if you can join there.

5: Reinstall everything.

I have now tried everything you said, and none of it works, i dont know why and i've only been able to get on 1 server.
