An eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind.

Person A shoots person B. Person B decides to cry on the forum about how person A sucks and how the community sucks. Person B also decides to become a bandit.

The result? Both person A and person B are now bandits. Person B now sees person C and shoots person C in the face. Person C cries on the forums and now KOS as well. Person A, B, and C are now bandits. The cycle continues.

Had person B not changed into a bandit, person C wouldn't have become a bandit either. The entire cycle of banditry is avoided. Everyone still has eyes.

The point is: You don't have to shoot on sight just because someone did it to you. Dying is part of the game. If you don't like the community, maybe you should try to change it instead of becoming the very thing you don't like.

Just my 2cents.

Break the cycle yourself. I hear these sob stories all day long, but have met and worked with a new player nearly every play session.
