arma 2 operation arrowhead error

i have a problem with operation arrowhead.

i try to run it,but then it says:

C:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/arma 2 operation arrowhead/expansion/addons/Characters_e.pbo/ expected.

i cant check to see exactly what it said, cuz im attempting to redownload it.

but anyway, i checked, i did have characters_e.pbo in the addons directory.

i tried googling it, but everyone else was having different problems than me.

PLEASE HELP! I WANT TO PLAY DAYZ!

did you try verifying the files through steam?

right click on the game go to properties and then local files tab and hit verify game cache for both arma 2 and OA
