Joining a server with 30+ players is almost impossible.

First you have to wait for the first loading screen, that takes 5mins upwards, no problem, I can wait.

Then you get to the waiting for character to create screen.. +10 mins.

Then the second loading screen. Another 10+ mins..

Why are servers allowed to have as many as 100 players if they can't actually handle it? I'm trying to join a 64/70 player server, would kill myself before I waited for a 100man server to load.

It depends on the server, the servers I join are <1min spawn time. It has to do with your rig as well.

This is not the problem, nor is it an "Alpha Bug", be careful about what you label as an alpha bug

It has very little to do with the PC you have, it is simply just luck of the draw in respect to how much traffic is going to and from the 'Hive' at the point of you joining. Also of course, the server location/ ping plays a part as well.
