DE 188 Shut down until further notice due to rampant cheating

So with 15 seperate reports of cheaters on the server all day since this morning, day changing to night and back randomly (didn't think this was possible) teleporting, every single camp on the map being destroyed and all vehicles destroyed, even the few regular clans who escaped their bases destructions being magically found no matter where they went...

Server will be down until I can fix an Exploit I've been informed off that lets people get admin access and bypass BE and Antiscripting.

(our regular admin has found himself banned)

I need to go through the scripts log to ban the offending players, until then the server will remain down.

Sad to hear the occurence, but nice to see some action. This actully makes me to concider to switch up my main server over to yours after it is back online! Very nice to see that people are trying their best with actual actions!

Yeah we are working hard to make this server a fun place for regulars (painted a target on myself there huh...) and seeing all our regulars griefed in one day is pathetic.

Ok Hopefully be back in an hour or two!

Loosing the vehicles will suck but the stuff can easily be replaced =p

Damn man I love playing on your server it's the only one where I can just go around and not get disturbed..but no wonder why I haven't seen one vehicle in game yet. Shit hackers these days, I heard they can make other people in game to use scripts and they get kicked off. I've been getting kicked lately for no reason =\...Hope you fix it!

We did have a bug with vehciles not spawning on our server but they did start about a week ago.

We had 6 of them ourselves and know another regular clan had 4 ;)

I suspect sadly these will all be trolled and taken or teleported out but they should be back in 7 days or so as they respawn after no usage.

This is my first scripts.txt trawl and my lord there is a lot to trawl.....

Got a few standard scripts I can remove but 800MB takes a long time to cleanse, really need to do this daily to keep it down >_<

Sorry to hear about the scripts =\..I'm really just an insurance agent "not from Statefarm" and i don't know any thing about scripts but it looks like another language for me lol. Are the vehicles going to be wiped or are you not going to do anything about it and just let them despawn? My friends and I found two vehicles in the middle of no where. A red car GAZ which I didn't know was in the game and a white off-road truck. We took the truck and left the car because we didn't want to get introuble for having something that was hacked into the game. But keep up the good work!

We don't ban anyone for having a non legit item only if we catch you spawning them =p

The red car is legit, we have one, it's slow but a 4 seater =p

The Offroad is awsome but only seats 2 :(

Nothing we can do about the vehicles sadly as they are all hive synced.

If cheaters locate them/move them there is nothing we can do about it :(

That said we experimented with the CLI RESTART command to start the map afresh (all tents and vehicles despawn) and we did see new vehicles spawning.

We then did a proper reboot of the server and the old vehicles/tents came back as did the extra vehicle we found but the next day the extra vehicle appeared to despawn so....not sure =p

OK the scripts.logs is empty of anything usefull, looks like they had bypass working.

We'll have the exploit fixed though and updated all the ban/script lists =p

Sadly the usualy bypass and map hacks will still be active so there is no point us telling you all to move your camps, we'll just have to put up with it for now sadly.

We found 3 Tanks at the airfield and are trying to figure out how the hell we can get rid of these.....no helicopter though =p

I guess we'll keep our ears open for the update around sep for when they start giving us news on the stand alone that should be more secure and admin friendly.

It's only a few months I recon until a "hive reset" anyway with a new stand alone release so we aren't getting too attached to kit and vehicles but we still want to try and keep our server reasonably stable for the regulars!

Server is back up for now, still vunlerable as all servers are but it's a secure as it can be at least and we'll continue to act on reports of cheats asap.
