Vehicle Spawn Mechanics

Couldn't find any other topics on this, so here goes.

I know that loot and zombies don't spawn/delayed spawn when the player is traveling in a vehicle and no other players are nearby. What I'm wondering though, is whether other vehicles spawn when you are already in one? If I grab a bicycle or small car and go scouting through all the common vehicle spawns, do I need to get out of the car and wait around for a few minutes?

Vehicles do not have delayed spawn.

They are generated through a script upon server creation and stay there until moved or destroyed.

I know this for a fact because I found one on my home server then found an empty server on the "Creating" screen.

The second I loaded up the vehicle was in the exact same spot on that server with no zombies spawned yet.

I have a question to expand upon OP's question though.

Will more vehicles ever spawn?

When my clan went to purchase a server we camped at the ural and v3s spawns and neither of them were there.

However later in the day we found the Ural near vybor fully repaired and abandoned.
