Setting waypoints?

Do I need a compass to do this? Ive looked at tutorials on it and it doesn't seem to work. I have a map, gps and watch. Or do I have everything I need and just doing it wrong?

It's only on servers that have waypoints enabled. I think these are certain veteran servers and servers that are running the Regular difficulty.

Silver is correct, it's a server-specific setting. If it DOES work, Shift+Left Click to set the waypoint on your map.

You have to Shit + Click on the map for a waypoint.

Cannot recommend that (apart from the "Click", but that alone won't help) :P
