There is not even a beginning of an engine for it. So if the concept makes it through early development and they manage to finance it to alpha, then perhaps there will be a closed alpha test for 20 people (not including you) sometime in 2014. Sure it's alpha but you'd think that if >1 000 000 people play a game then this game hasn't got such terrible bugs.Three main threats in DayZ:1. Players2. SERVER BUGS???3. Zombies (not rly a threat if u know how stupid they r ;/) So you bought a game only to play a modification for it, the mod is still free, if you would have to pay for this the bugs would be indeed outrageous, but since it is a free mod and IN alpha, it's totally fine.
