lBiscuit 1 Posted August 4, 2012 * Background part you don't have to read *So me and my friends had been playing on this server for around 2 days and had made a camp up north with some decent stuff in it. We had recently just died at the NW airstrip because we got too greedy. We split at Elektro and I headed down towards Cherno. I start getting shot at on the edge of the town and start headed up towards the tree line for some cover. Upon sprinting for my life to avoid death, I had discovered a haven among the trees. * Main Part *So I had found a camp with 3 tents and a box of some sort, so close to Cherno's edge. Immediately I thought it was a trap but after a short period of waiting I decided it was all clear and looted the tents. (At this point I wished I took screenshots) I saw an AS50, an MP5, a silenced MP5, AK's.. far too many. I then Investigated this weird-ass box. It was just like an ammo box and you'll never guess what.. It had ridiculous amounts of ammo inside.I looked the crate up on the DayZ wiki and couldn't find a thing. So now I'm worried that I may have hackers in this server and do not want to be victim to nukes etc. Anybody else experienced these boxes before ? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

dstein 5 Posted August 4, 2012 Yeah if I'm not mistaken you may find them are helecopter crash sites. Beyond that though it is definitely a hacked in object. sostronk 334 Posted August 4, 2012 Depends how close to Cherno it is. Some people do setup tents ~2km out of town so they can camp. I'm not sure the current policy, but several months ago it was simple; if you were caught with hacked gear, its a ban.
