sostronk 334 Posted August 4, 2012 And is there a way for me to minimize it? Specifically im thinking about sprinting/running/crouching/crawling. I know environmental factors come into play, but if im running between two town for instance, will I conserve hunger/thirst levels by crouch running instead of running or sprinting. Same with crawling. There was one case where I starved and bled out from it and had alot of stuff so I would have crawled if I thought it would have helped. ThatGuyCalledReptile 314 Posted August 4, 2012 Minimize it by running not sprinting.Stay in the shade under trees and avoid fields if possible.
Forceflare 166 Posted August 4, 2012 3.14 + -27(4) x M = HUNGER
Hinaru 96 Posted August 4, 2012 3.14 + -27(4) x M = HUNGERI knew that. Mathematics.. Mathematics everywhere! :D
WhiteTigerShiro 25 Posted August 4, 2012 If you full-on sprint (standing up and running), it'll consume food/water faster, but I guess I don't know how by how much. Over-all though, unless you're really hurting on food/water supplies, you don't need to worry about it.
Malachi Krieg 22 Posted August 4, 2012 3.14 + -27(4) x M = HUNGERThis is a lie. How can PIE = Hunger? Oh... wait...As everyone else said, sprinting will burn through your water pretty quickly. Running up hills a lot will tire you out. If your guy/girl sounds like he/she's about to have a heart attack, you are probably burning through water quicker too. However, I don't think there's an actual formula, per se. Not to mention the rate at which you need drink/food seems to changes between patches right now anyway :)
the.death.toll@gmail.com 22 Posted August 4, 2012 No need to eat or drink unless it's blinking at any rate.
