mikeratcliff 36 Posted August 3, 2012 Me and my buddies from my gaming community, 7th Cavalry, were playing DayZ and where held up in a castle. We damaged a helicopter enough for it to crash, and we think the guys came after us. They killed the men guarding the door and I got up to the roof to guard what was left of our gear for my fallen comrades to return. Then a guy spawns insight and pulls out a M9SD, I originally thought that it was a fellow member that was on another server and heard that shit had hit the fan and came to assist. His bullets hitting my face proved otherwise. It's sad to see that someone had to have dced, hop onto another server, reconnect to just get little old me. I don't have much to prove what had happened but there is still the time/date and the server name. If you check the logs of US 477 for the date of 08/03/2012 at around 18:38 Eastern time, You should see someone connecting to the server and me dying very close to it, hopefully it will show who killed me.I can get my gear back sure enough, but that's not the point, the point is that the guy used a known exploit to murder me.I'm now along with my comrades going to avenge us all and ID the babies that did this.P.S.
